Burke Decor is an ecommerce retailer specializing in home furnishings and decor items. Our passion for quality craftsmanship and artfully decorated spaces has led to an extensive compilation of furnishings, home improvement products, and fixtures available through our online boutique. Our clients range from those purchasing a special gift for a loved one, an accessory or investment piece for their home to commercial clients procuring materials for a new or renovated space.
We are looking for a highly motivated, self driven customer service professional with a high degree of emotional intelligence, strong critical thinking skills and an ability to empathize with customer frustrations while also protecting the organization's bottom line in a direct to consumer marketplace.
The right candidate will be comfortable in a customer facing position and possess excellent communication skills. The position requires answering customer calls and emails in a timely manner while providing accurate information, above average ability to multitask in a high stress office environment, advanced computer skills with the ability to navigate across a multitude of applications, in and out of inventory reports, vendor portals, internal databases and live websites, to name a few, all while communicating with a client over the phone or via email.
Additional requirements include spotting and diagnosing internal issues and communicating them with the appropriate department while also coming up with personal resolution and suggestions on how to improve or resolve the situation, heavy focus on time and task orientation and strong desire to be part of a team.
