We are a small law firm located in Glendale, looking for a part-time bookkeeper/office assistant to join our close-knit team.

Unlike many large anonymous law firms, we are a relaxed but professional group of attorneys and legal assistants who value each other as well as our clients. We value courtesy and professionalism in everything we do and expect a candidate to have good judgment, diplomacy, and tact in their interactions with others.

This is an entry level position that requires analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, multi-tasking, and exceptional client service skills, as well as being a self-starter and having an aptitude for numbers.

Ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of general bookkeeping and office experience: data entry, reconciliation of accounts, billing, accounts payable and receivable, filing, answering and fielding telephone calls, dealing with vendors and clients, general office tasks as requested, etc. Must have excellent computer skills, be familiar with Quickbooks, and the ability to prioritize the workflow. Experience with a legal billing software, i.e. MyCase, Timeslips, etc., would be ideal, however we are willing to teach the right candidate.

Seeking someone with strong written and verbal communication skills who is organized, detail oriented, and a team player. Candidate must be flexible and willing to provide support or assistance outside of the scope of this job description.

Must be willing to work 18-24 hours per week.

Compensation range for this position is $20-25 per hour, commensurate with experience.
