Responsibilities:
Our team of Virtual Care Coordinators working remotely from a MULTI-STATE area play a critical role supporting our patient’s needs. The Care Coordinator role takes inbounds calls for the nurse advise line, does physician referrals, faxes messages to clients, schedules appointments, processes medical service requests, collects and enters patient data, assists with any issues/concerns and educates callers about any healthcare programs available to them. There are many kinds of nurse advice calls you may receive. There is also a small amount of outbound calls that would be when transferring a call to a nurse, doctor’s office or 911.

- Take inbound calls from patients, providers and members
- Help manage calls for patients that may be sick, in an emergent situation or more
- Support members with their insurance needs, questions or concerns
- Educate patients and callers as needed

Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
Must be 18yrs or older
Strong communication and documentation skills
Empathy and willingness to help patients, customers, members and providers
Requirements for home office:
- Must provide: 2 (Two) Monitors Needed, 20”-22” inches or larger measured diagonally (Supporting a resolution of 1920 x 1080, with a 32-bit display adapter). And any adapter needed for your monitor’s port. We use HDMI or Display ports only.
- Please note a laptop does not count as a monitor. You will need to supply two stand-alone monitors.
- Office space with lock on door, but if living alone, a quiet place to work in the residence.
- May not have anyone in the room during scheduled work hours; CANNOT be the primary or sole caregiver for others during shift.
- Wi-Fi cannot be used. You would need an Ethernet cable to connect the modem to the computer.
- You would be responsible for providing a Paper Shredder and Surge Protector.
- You would need to do an internet speed test (with a minimum of 20 download speed and a minimum of 10 for upload speed). To test, go to www.speedtest.net (not a link). You cannot have wi-fi on while testing and must use an Ethernet cable for the test.
