All Steel Service is hiring an Office Assistant. Duties will include:
- Assisting the company Director in quote preparation
- Assisting the company Director in various marketing projects (Facebook, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, etc.)
- Entering data in the company ERP computer system
- Answering phones
- Other miscellaneous tasks
NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS
- An upbeat and cheerful personality
- Strong computer skills
- Familiarity with Facebook and other social media platforms
- An interest in graphic design
- A good phone presence
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator. (If you do not have experience with these programs, it is OK, as we can teach you. But it is necessary to want to learn.)
- Good writing skills
WORKING HOURS/REMOTE SETUP
The position will be 100% remote.
The candidate must have access to a strong and reliable Internet connection. It is also necessary to have a dedicated room for working, where it is quiet and there are no background noises.
This is a part-time position with about 22-27 hours worked per week. Depending on the qualifications of the candidate, there will be room for flexibility in the exact number of hours worked per week, as well as the start/stop times during the week. However, there will not be any working on Mondays (or on the weekends).
BENEFITS
Since this is a part-time position, there are no medical/dental/vision benefits. There are also no paid holidays. However, it is OK for the candidate to take some time off (unpaid) during the year for vacation and/or other family functions. Details will be discussed during the interview process.
